Adopt an Artifact: Presidential Pitcher

Pitcher with blue transfer and gold trim, made by Buffalo Pottery. One side of the pitcher there is an image of Washington on horse, and Mount Vernon on the other. Below the spout is a front facing portrait of George Washington. Simulated signature of "G Washington" on inside lip of the spout. Buffalo Pottery mark on underside of bottom: contains the words "UNDERGLAZE" and 'WARRANTED" in a circle enclosing the image of a buffalo; circle is surmounted by an eagle and flag; "BUF" on one side of the circle, and "FALO" on the other, with "19" and "07" below, and 'POTTERY" at bottom. In gold on bottom: "1346"
