Small ceramic plate with polychrome image of colonial revival Revolutionary themes, with brown rim and edging of blue stars, with text. This one depicts Paul Revere and says: "Receiving a signal, warning them that the British troops were marching, Paul Revere, William Dawes, and other patriots warn colonists to prepare for Battle on the night of April 18, 1775. A skirmish is fought at Lexington, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775, and the Revolutionary War begins." Each marked on back “Made in Japan” and “[copyright] 0.0.1. 1975.” Diam. 6 1/8 in. NB: low quality ceramics, most fitted with added hanger. Additional text: “WARNING / FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. NOT TO BE USED FOR SERVING FOODS.”
