Frame and stand brass with leaf decoration and a cherub head with wings at the frame base, attaching it to the stand. The rear of the portrait is a hinged glass door, underneath which is gold fabric and a calling card from the donor, Mrs. William Gorham Rice, with the attribution to the artist, Eulabee Dix.
